Children’s international soccer tournament "Cup of the East"

The "Cup of the East" children’s international soccer tournament was held in Kazan from May 14 to 17. Teams from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries took part in the competition: Oman, Pakistan, UAE, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia.
The Neftekhimik team from Nizhnekamsk took the 3rd place, Sabah from Azerbaijan took the second place, and Rubin received the championship cup and medals.
